After owning a data-focused company for twenty years, I thought I would reflect on my own degree in Economics that I received from UBC in 1995. Not only can I see how it shaped my own journey, but I can see how it opens even more doors for new graduates today.

In this video, we’re going to look at the economics degree, and find out why it is so well suited for a data analytics career. Find out why an understanding of competition and econometrics makes your degree so valuable in a world that is awash in data.
