How to Use BOF and EOF in MS Access
10-August-2021
When you’re using recordsets in MS Access, it is useful to know when you’re at the very beginning or end
of the recordset. This is where BOF (Beginning of File) and EOF (End of File) are very useful, and can
help you to stop when you are traversing records. Checking for BOF and EOF can save you from running into
errors (as we see in this video), and can make your code run more smoothly. Definitely a good tool in
your toolbox!
